Sep. 18, 2024, Kolkata – Rotary Club of Calcutta South Central undertook a meaningful service project through the donation of essential medical equipment to Shanti Niwas, an old age home for women located on DH Road near Behala Chowrasta. The club extended its support by donating a wheelchair, nebuliser, emergency medical equipment, portable phlegm suction unit and a supply of insulin, aiming to enhance the healthcare and mobility facilities for the elderly residents. Club President Rtn. Utsav Bhanja and Club Treasurer Rtn. Koushik Banerjee were present during the visit, personally handing over the items and interacting with the residents. Total no. of beneficiaries are 40.
