August 28, 2023 – The 29th Installation Ceremony was held at Casa Broadway Hotel (top floor), south Kolkata to mark the official installation of Rtn. Utsav Bhanja as the President of Rotary Club of Calcutta South Central (RI District 3291). Honourable District Governor Rtn. Hira Lal Yadav along with PDG Rtn. Rajani Mukherjee; Assistant Governor Rtn. Amit Sen and club Honourary Member Rtn. Shantanu Bose along with his spouse were present at the ceremony.

Immediate Past President (IPP) Rtn. Pasupati Sarkar handed over the presidential duties to the new club president. The club charter was handed over to Rtn. Utsav Bhanja by District Governor (DG) Rtn. Hira Lal Yadav. Rtn. Illanjana Bhadra took over the post of Club Secretary and Rtn. Koushik Banerjee took over as the Club Treasurer.

The club president’s agenda for the Rotary year 2023-24 was presented by Rtn. Utsav Bhanja, with focus on child literacy, community development, healthcare and sustainability. Club members enjoyed the evening with their family members / spouses over food and drinks. The evening was concluded by a special seminar on Stress Management by Dr. Devasis Ghosh.
